Job summary

Emerus, the leader in small-format hospitals, seeks a Tele RN to assess, plan, and deliver specialized nursing care in ICU/MCU/Step Down settings. The role focuses on high-acuity inpatient care, cardiorespiratory management, and collaboration with telemedicine teams in a fast-paced hospital.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma, PA RN license, 2+ years ICU/Telemetry experience, and BLS/ACLS certification. A sign-on bonus and weekend shift differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years in related healthcare positions, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC can substitute).
• English fluency; written and oral communication.
• Pennsylvania RN's: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within last 5 years, or obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide proficient nursing care for patients.
• Follow physician orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policies and CLIA/COLA.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures and assist others.
