Job summary

Resultant is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team for weekend shifts in Dallas, delivering proactive client support and technical troubleshooting. You will prepare desktops and laptops, document issues, and collaborate with the customer team to meet commitments.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations. MSP background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and oral.
• Able to explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical users.
• Willing to participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as necessary.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Specialist or similar role, MSP experience preferred.
• Technical familiarity with Active Directory, file permissions, domain, backups, antivirus; network basics include DNS, VPN, DHCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client support on weekend shifts.
• Elevate and communicate incident details, confirming issue acceptance and timeliness.
• Prepare desktops, laptops, and peripherals for customers.
• Keep customer documentation up-to-date and accurate.
• Deliver operational commitments with the Customer Team Lead and collaborate with teams.
• Perform customer maintenance activities on behalf of the customer team.
• Monitor alerts and respond as part of the live helpdesk.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet client needs and organize work efficiently.
