Job summary

prototype:IT is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to support clients across industries in a fast-paced MSP environment. You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in technical support, strong Windows/Mac skills, and solid knowledge of Microsoft 365. On-site opportunities in the Dallas area may arise as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a technical support, help desk, or desktop support role.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance to clients with hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to support requests and IT incidents in a timely, professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems including Windows, Mac, networking, and printing issues.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff while owning the customer experience.
• Document incidents, steps taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
