Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Princeton, NJ is seeking an enthusiastic Swim Instructor to teach water safety and swim techniques using our curriculum. You will foster a fun, educational environment while ensuring student safety and timely progress updates.

The role supports a non-exempt schedule with opportunities for shift flexibility, paid training, and advancement as the franchise grows. Prior lifeguard/childcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Excellence in interpersonal communication and organization.
• Background examinations required and completed during training.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforces safety rules and assists with rescues and first aid when necessary.
• Evaluates students’ progress and completes required paperwork.
• Interacts with parents/guardians on students’ swim development.
• Acts as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.
• Performs light cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
