Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to teach water safety and swimming techniques using the company curriculum. You will work with children in a pool setting, ensure safety, and provide progress updates to families.

We offer flexible hours, paid training, and opportunities for advancement as the school grows. Ideal candidates have prior lifeguard or instructor experience and a passion for youth development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; two or more years as a swimming instructor required.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification may be required per job posting.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques.
• Enforces safety rules and administers first aid when necessary.
• Evaluates students’ progress and completes required paperwork on time.
• Interacts with parents/guardians regarding student development.
• Performs deck teacher duties and light cleaning as needed.
• Attends mandatory workshops and training outside regular hours.
