Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach children water safety and swimming techniques using our curriculum. You will enforce safety rules and provide rescues and first aid when needed.

The role involves evaluating student progress, communicating with parents, and representing the school positively. Flexible, part-time shifts are offered, with opportunities for advancement within the franchise system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required; shallow water attendant recommended.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students on water safety and swimming techniques using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforces safety rules, performs rescues and administers first aid when needed.
• Evaluates student progress and documents performance in a timely manner.
• Communicates with parents/guardians about child’s progress and needs.
• Acts as a school ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction and positive experience.
• Performs light cleaning and aids in maintaining pool and deck area as required.
