Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Princeton is seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to teach water safety and swimming techniques in our fun, results-focused program. You will follow the Goldfish curriculum and engage families to support student progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Lifeguard certification or related experience preferred.
• Experience with youth activities preferred.
• Swimming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and perform rescues and first aid when necessary.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills.
• Act as a GSS “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction.
• Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues and report issues to management.
• Maintain and store pool equipment and arrange lane lines.
• Attend required/mandatory workshops and in-service training outside regular hours.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned by the Employer.
