VOA Northern California & Northern Nevada is seeking a part-time Support Staff member for the Family Shelter (Parker House) in Sacramento. The role supports homeless families, with duties across safety, daily operations, and crisis response during the Friday–Sunday swing shift.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, housing logistics, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, while maintaining clear communication with residents and staff.

Competenze

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and function as a team member.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 90 days of employment.

Mansioni

• Provide safe, non-judgmental quality service to program participants.
• Explain program rules and assist residents with daily routines.
• Coordinate meal service, bed assignments, and housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain daily reports and communicate with residents and staff.
• Complete shift logs and respond to crisis situations as needed.
