Job summary

VOA Northern California & Northern Nevada is seeking full-time Support Staff for the Family Program at our Mather Community Campus. This role includes swing and overnight shifts, delivering compassionate, non-judgmental service to program participants while supporting daily operations and safety.

The position requires CPR/First Aid within 90 days, a valid California driver’s license, and background clearances.

Responsibilities

Explain program rules and regulations to residents and facilitate observance of the rules.
Coordinate meal preparation/service, bed assignments, showers, laundering, and daily routines.
Provide awake shift coverage and maintain grounds security; conduct hourly safety/ security checks.
De-escalate crises and provide emergency assistance as needed.
Maintain daily reports and incident logs; document client concerns.
Perform clerical duties and maintain communication with residents and staff.
Support training and development of new staff.
Assist in development of quality operations and ensure safety and ethics.
