Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations in a Connecticut facility. The role reports to nursing administration and requires clinical leadership, triage oversight, and on-site coordination with charge nurses, CNAs, and floor staff.
Responsibilities include supervision, rounds, triage, admissions, and ensuring regulatory compliance and resident safety across weekend shifts. Strong EMR proficiency and prior LTC leadership are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in Connecticut.
- 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SKilled Nursing Facility / LTC or sub-acute rehab.
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience in long-term care preferred.
- Experience with EMR documentation and order entry (e.g., PointClickCare).
Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend nursing operations and provide clinical leadership.
- Conduct routine rounds across clinical units to monitor residents and staff workflows.
- Provide rapid clinical decision-making during resident status changes or emergencies.
- Assist with weekend admissions, transfers, room assignments, and discharge orders.
- Coach and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to maintain shift accountability.
- Ensure accurate EMR documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
