You will supervise staff, oversee medication management, implement care plans, and maintain accurate documentation while coordinating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

This role requires a Texas RN license, strong leadership, and the ability to stay composed during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas RN license.
• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Solid communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage care plans and coordinate on weekends.
• Calm under pressure with strong emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure plans follow policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances and complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor orders, results, and follow-up.
