Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff and ensure quality resident care during weekend shifts. You will oversee medication management, implement care plans, and provide direct care support as needed.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, strong assessment and documentation skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while coordinating staffing and ensuring compliant practices across the unit.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervision abilities.
• Excellent documentation and technical nursing skills.
• Able to multitask and manage workflow in a busy weekend environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans are followed per policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders promptly and maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform on care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances and complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor orders, results, and physician follow-up.
