You will supervise nursing staff, manage medication administration, implement care plans, and coordinate documentation, shift handoffs, and incident reporting while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas required.
• Weekend availability and reliability essential.
• Strong leadership and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure plans follow policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders and complete assessments.
• Lead Shift Communication: Report and coordinate care needs with staff.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances and complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up.
