Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee medication management, and ensure care plans are followed, while coordinating documentation and reporting across shifts.

The role requires an RN licensed in Texas, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage emergencies and staffing needs over weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas RN license.
• Strong clinical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stay calm during emergencies and manage workflow.
• Passionate about quality resident care and team support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans followed per policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders promptly, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances, contact families, complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor lab orders, results, and follow-up.
