Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Texas.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and manage shifts.
• Competent in documentation and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure adherence to policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances, contact families, and complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor orders, results, and follow-ups.
