Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. The role supports a 24/7 crisis stabilization program, performing nursing assessments, medication management, and coordination of care for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.

The position involves delivering direct services in a residential setting, supervising clinical tasks, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize clients and plan

Qualifications

• RN licensure in CT is required.
• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Experience with substance use and mental health disorders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in a 24/7 residential setting.
• Intervenes in conflicts to maintain a positive milieu.
• Teaches coping skills, ADLs, psychoeducation, and community linkage.
• Documents interventions and observations in a professional manner.
• Provides integrated behavioral health and medical treatment planning.
• Monitors medications per policy and assists residents with rehab skills.
