Job summary

CHR Community Health Resources, Inc. in Willimantic, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for the REST Center on the third shift (Mon-Fri 12am-8am).

The REST Center is a 24/7 crisis stabilization program providing nursing support, short-term assessment, stabilization, and connection to community services. You will deliver direct services, monitor medications, document interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with behavioral health and substance use

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Nursing from an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN licensure to practice in CT.
• Experience working with patients with substance use and mental health disorders; managed care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in the 24/7 residential setting.
• Intervenes in client differences or conflicts to ensure a positive milieu.
• Documents planned interventions, behavior incidents, and observations in an objective manner.
• Monitors medications and provides psycho-educational support.
• Assists/Manages administrative functions as directed by supervisor.
