Job summary

CHR (Community Health Resources, Inc.) REST Center in Willimantic, CT seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing support within a 24/7 crisis stabilization program for adults with behavioral health needs.

The RN will manage medication monitoring, participate in integrated care planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and safety while linking clients to community resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Nursing from an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license to practice in CT.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in 24/7 residential setting.
• Demonstrates understanding of treatment for SUD and co-occurring disorders.
• Intervenes to maintain positive milieu and engage clients.
• Maintains documentation of interventions, incidents, and observations.
• Develops and provides individual and group treatment and psycho-educational sessions.
• Transports clients within the program as needed.
• Crisis assessment and intervention for clients in crisis.
