Job summary

Community Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This part-time role covers Saturday and Sunday nights (12am–8am) at the REST Center, a 24/7 crisis stabilization program.

The RN will provide nursing support, medication monitoring, and patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team, aiming to stabilize patients and connect them to ongoing services.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in CT.
• Graduate of a School of Nursing from an Accredited Nursing Program.
• CPR & First Aid Certification required OR must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in a 24/7 residential setting.
• Demonstrates understanding of treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Documents planned interventions, observations, and assessments in a professional manner.
• Monitors medications and assists with clinical care per policy.
• Provides crisis assessment, psychoeducation, and linkage to community resources.
