Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) in Willimantic, CT is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the REST Center program. This role provides essential nursing support in a 24/7 crisis stabilization setting, delivering person-centered care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold a CT RN license and CPR/First Aid certification, with experience in substance use and mental health care. Schedule is Sat/Sun 4pm-12am; 16 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a School of Nursing with RN licensure.
• Experience: Working with patients with mental health/substance use disorders.
• Licensure/Certification: RN license to practice in CT.
• Training: CPR & First Aid Certification required or obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in 24/7 residential setting.
• Intervenes in conflicts to maintain a positive milieu.
• Maintains rapport with clients and supports recovery skills.
• Documents interventions, incidents, and observations accurately.
• Manages medications and crisis assessment as part of care planning.
