Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) in Willimantic, CT, seeks a Registered Nurse for the REST Center on the third shift. This full-time role provides direct nursing services in a 24/7 crisis stabilization program for adults with behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (CT) and graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience working with patients with substance use and mental health disorders.
• CPR & First Aid certification required or obtainable within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing services to clients in a 24/7 residential setting.
• Intervenes in crises and supports treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Documents interventions, assessments, and medications accurately.
• Develops and implements nursing care plans and coordinates with the multidisciplinary team.
• Transports clients as needed and ensures safe dispensing/monitoring of medications.
