Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a part-time Receiving Area Supervisor to oversee the receiving area and freight elevator, ensuring safety, order, and compliance with Association policies. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

The role requires verifying licenses and permits for contractors, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining logs. If able, fluency in multiple languages is a plus; AEDT may be used in candidate assessments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the receiving area and freight elevator; maintain safety, orderliness and cleanliness.
• Verify licenses, insurances, and permits of service providers and contractors through the management office.
• Enforce parking regulations and Association rules.
• Register deliveries and packages (FedEx, UPS, DHL, registered mail).
• Schedule freight elevator use for residents moving in/out per policy.
• Issue parking passes to approved vehicles and distribute ID passes to contractors.
• Monitor contractors and building maintenance visits via logs.
• Complete required reports and requisition materials as needed.
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed; maintain a safe work area.
• Perform other duties as required.
