Community Teamwork in Lowell, MA is seeking a part-time Residential Counselor to support clients in a congregate emergency shelter. You will help with intake, daily activities, and enforcing house rules using trauma-informed practices.

The role prioritizes safety, crisis response, and collaboration with staff to provide life-skills guidance while maintaining documentation and program compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Crisis management skills are important for handling emergencies.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and data collection.
• Excellent attention to detail is important.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the safety of guests and the site.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure smooth operation of the site.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and document accordingly.
• Complete the intake process for new guests.
• Provide support and structure, addressing guest problems or concerns.
• Initiate crisis intervention when necessary.
• Record documentation per program guidelines.
