Job summary

Community Teamwork, Inc. is seeking a Residential Counselor for a Saturday/Sunday overnight shift in Lowell, MA. The role involves working with clients in a congregate shelter, providing life skills support, enforcing safety rules, and guiding residents using trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities include intake, scheduling guidance, site security, housekeeping, emergency crisis management, and documenting activities per program guidelines. Prior experience in social services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills in basic software and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of guests and the site.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure smooth operation of the site.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, document appropriately, and communicate according to guidelines.
• Complete the intake process for new guests.
• Provide support and structure, addressing guest/resident problems or concerns.
• Initiate crisis intervention when necessary.
• Record documentation as required by program guidelines.
