Labcorp in Newark, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages. You will collect specimens for tests, enter patient data, and assist with billing while delivering excellent customer service.

The role supports Labcorp’s commitment to accurate diagnostics and patient care, with opportunities to grow within a global healthcare leader and to work at Patient Service Centers or client offices.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist doing blood draws on children.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
