Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Newark, NJ team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, input data, and assist with billing and admin tasks.

The role offers weekday hours with occasional Saturdays and opportunities to travel to additional sites. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; a certification is preferred.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED is required.
1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Mansioni

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Input patient information accurately in the data system.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Travel to additional sites when required.
