Job summary

Labcorp in Bayonne, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role includes performing venipuncture and capillary collections, handling specimens, and providing excellent patient service in a clinical setting.

Hours are Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays. A phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience is required. Pay range starts at $17.75–$24 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
