• Ability to explain regulatory and privacy documents clearly.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify identity and records.
• Review schedules and physician orders to register for services.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and other documents into the EHR.
• Collect co-pays, deposits, and outstanding balances securely.
• Greet patients and guide them to the correct service area.
• May perform scheduling, pre-admission and discharge duties as needed.
