Shields Health Care Group, based in Massachusetts, seeks a patient access representative to greet patients, collect copays, deductibles and explain consent forms while guiding IPad check-in for smooth arrivals. You will collaborate with technologists and radiologists to maintain efficient patient flow and protect patient privacy.

You will verify information, manage mail and daily scheduling tasks, respond to emergencies, and uphold HIPAA standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology and insurance requirements preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to multi task and exceed customer expectations.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, collect copay/deductible and explain the consent form.
• Assist patients with IPad check-in, troubleshoot and provide feedback.
• Recognize when language services are needed and assist accordingly.
• Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA and privacy policies.
• Work with technologists/radiologists to ensure proper patient flow.
• Verify and enter necessary information into our systems.
• Respond to scheduling emergencies and support front-desk with waitlist templates.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient groups and day-to-day operations.
