Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services to patients within the Northshore/Central Territory. You will support the IDT plan of care, observe patient status, and maintain a safe, healthy home environment while respecting patient dignity.

The role requires MA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate.

Qualifikationen

Must have MA CNA or HHA credential.
Hospice care experience is a plus.
Strong communication and observation skills.

Aufgaben

Assist patients with hygiene, grooming, bathing.
Assist with toilet needs using bedpans as required.
Provide skin care and observe for pressure areas.
Assist with transfers using gait belts or lifting aids.
Help with walking using walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
Assist with self-administered medications cuing.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Observe, document, and report patient status to the hospice nurse.
Take and record vital signs as directed.
Maintain infection control practices.
Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
Recognize emergencies and contact supervisor as needed.
