Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate in-home care. Schedule consists of Saturday and Sunday from 8am-8pm, covering Northshore/Central Territory.

Responsibilities include personal care, hygiene, transfers, meal prep, and vital signs, with emphasis on safety and infection control. Requirements include MA CNA or HHA certification and the ability to work in a home health setting.

Qualifications

• Valid MA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification OR Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate required
• Experience in personal care and home health settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and basic skin care
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers using gait belts or lifting equipment
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when required
• Observe, document, and report patient status and vital signs
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment and respond to emergencies
