Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to join our Northshore/Central territory team. The role provides personal care and homemaker services under the IDT plan, with emphasis on safety, dignity, and patient comfort in the home setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals, medication cues, vital signs, and documentation, while following infection control practices and reporting to the hospice nurse case manager.

Qualifications

• Valid MA CNA or HHA certification required.
• Experience in home care settings preferred.
• Patient-focused care with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services per plan of care.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and transfers using safe techniques.
• Support with mobility aids and equipment as needed.
• Assist with meals and medication cuing, observe and report changes.
• Document patient status and vital signs per protocols.
• Maintain infection control and safety in the home environment.

Education

MA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate
