Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home - North Shore seeks a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care and homemaking services in Beverly, Peabody, Stoneham & Wakefield areas. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort in the home.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, transfers, meal prep, vital signs, and documentation, while adhering to the plan of care and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Valid MA CNA certification or Home Health Aide certificate required.
• Hospice Aide experience or related hospice/home care exposure may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services per the plan of care.
• Assist with hygiene, grooming, and basic needs including bathing.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers using gait belts or lifting equipment.
• Support medication administration under supervision and cue self-administered meds.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed; observe and document patient status.
