Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services in patients' homes. You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, and medication cues while observing patient status and reporting to the hospice nurse case manager.

Maintain infection control and a safe home environment, recognizing emergencies and contacting supervisors when needed. Applicants must hold MA CNA or HHA certification.

Qualifications

• Must have MA CNA certification or HHA certificate.
• Experience in home health care or hospice preferred.
• Ability to observe and document patient status accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services.
• Assist with hygiene, bathing, grooming, and skin care.
• Assist with toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Assist with meals and medication cuing as directed.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nurse case manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and infection control.
