Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming calls promptly and routes to the appropriate department.
• Carries out paging procedures for employees, providers, and rapid response teams, including emergencies.
• Acts as an information hub and provides accurate assistance to patients, staff and external customers.
• Transfers calls to the proper extension and maintains seamless communication.
• Coordinates emergency codes and disaster communications for timely notifications.
• Screens and verifies demographic information and organizes paperwork accurately.
• Maintains records of all pages, notifications, and calls and complies with policies.
