Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare setting.
• 1-2 years of switchboard experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly, route to department or individual based on caller needs.
• Page employees, providers, rapid response teams, including during emergencies.
• Act as information hub by providing accurate assistance to patients, staff and external customers.
• Transfer calls to the proper extension for seamless communication.
• Coordinate emergency codes and disaster notifications for on-call staff.
• Screen and verify demographic information; organize paperwork accurately.
• Provide instructions to patients for accessing external operators for long-distance calls.
• Maintain detailed records of pages, notifications and calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned; maintain regular attendance.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
