Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming calls promptly and routes to the appropriate department.
• Carries out paging procedures for employees and providers, including emergencies.
• Provides accurate information to patients, staff and external customers.
• Transfers calls to the proper extension, ensuring seamless communication.
• Coordinates emergency codes and notifications to on-call staff.
• Screens demographic information and maintains accurate records per facility protocols.
• Assists patients with access to external operators for long-distance calls.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
