Job summary

Midway Neurological & Rehabilitation Center in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Weekend Receptionist to join our patient-facing team. You will be the first contact for patients, families, and visitors, delivering warm service and accurate front-desk support.

This part-time role (~20 hours) covers weekends and some evenings. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing calls, scheduling and billing support, maintaining confidential records, and assisting the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting; training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Manage and respond to phone calls, messages, and inquiries promptly.
• Handle patient registration, scheduling, and billing as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and files.
• Provide administrative support to healthcare team members as needed.
• Participate in weekend coverage, including evenings and weekends as scheduled.
