Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites is seeking a dependable Front Desk Agent to join our team for a Saturday and Sunday schedule. The ideal candidate will deliver warm, professional service, handle check-ins/outs, and assist guests with reservations and requests while upholding Marriott standards.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team. Previous front desk experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude and provide excellent customer service throughout their stay.
• Perform guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with reservations and special requests.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, working toward timely and satisfactory resolutions.
• Maintain accurate guest information, room assignments, payments, and other front desk records.
• Monitor the lobby and front desk area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow Fairfield Inn & Suites and Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and established procedures.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest needs are met.
• Monitor arrivals, departures, and room availability while maintaining accurate information in the hotel system.
• Remain attentive to guests and avoid distractions that interfere with providing quality service.
• Complete assigned tasks, shift reports, and handover notes before leaving the desk.
• Represent the hotel positively through professionalism, teamwork, honesty, and accountability.
