Job summary

Planned Companies’ Concierge team in Jersey City is hiring Front Desk Associates and Doormen to create a warm, welcoming experience for tenants, guests and vendors while keeping the building presentable and secure.

Shifts run Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm, with on-site responsibilities including greeting visitors, answering phones, managing access and coordinating requests such as reservations, local recommendations, and on-site events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of local attractions and establishments.
• Polite, friendly and able to multitask with good time-management.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, announce, and provide direction to tenants, guests, and vendors.
• Schedule reservations and appointments at restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues.
• Plan and organize on-site events.
• Provide directions to local attractions and services.
• Document, secure and track mail, deliveries, and vendor services.
• Answer telephones, monitor lobby and manage access cards.
