Advocate Health is seeking a part-time clinical pharmacist to oversee safe and effective pharmaceutical care within the Peach Pharmacy department. This PRN role focuses on weekend coverage with some weekday and holiday shifts, and daily hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with holiday hours 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The pharmacist will review orders, counsel patients, support medication safety, mentor students, and collaborate with the healthcare team to manage formulary adherence.

Competenze

• Licensed in Georgia or eligible for reciprocity
• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school
• No experience required
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Life support training may be required depending on department

Mansioni

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including retrieving and evaluating biomedical literature and designing medication therapy regimens
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adverse effects, compliance, and administration
• Designs, monitors and evaluates patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens and implements recommendations
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions
• Participates in medical emergencies and supports medication safety initiatives
• Mentors pharmacy students, residents, and staff as assigned
• Directs and checks accuracy of work of pharmacy support staff to ensure safe workflows
