Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a part-time, PRN Pharmacist for Navicent Health Medical Center: Peach - Pharmacy. The role focuses on safe and effective pharmaceutical care within the Clinical Pharmacist expectations, primarily on weekends with some weekday/holiday coverage.

GA licensure or reciprocity is required; a PharmD or CP A degree from an ACPE-accredited school is required. Hospital experience is preferred, with standard hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and holiday hours 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Qualifications

Licensed in the state of Georgia or eligible for reciprocity required.
Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school or FPGEC NABP.

Responsibilities

Oversees pharmaceutical care, including evaluating literature and designing regimens.
Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adverse effects, and adherence.
Designs and monitors patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on literature and policies.
Reviews medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy.
Participates in medical emergencies when applicable.
Supports medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborates to manage formulary adherence and non-formulary meds.
