Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Georgia or eligible for reciprocity.
• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school or an FPGEC certificate from NABP.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and effective pharmaceutical care in the practice area.
• Retrieving and evaluating biomedical literature to design therapy regimens.
• Provide patient and caregiver counseling on medication use and safety.
• Design, monitor, and adjust pharmacotherapeutic regimens per evidence and policy.
• Review medication orders for accuracy and safety; support formulary adherence.
• Engage in medication safety and quality improvement activities; document appropriately.
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for learners; train teammates as assigned.
• Direct and check the work of pharmacy support staff for safe workflows.
