Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist PRN for weekend coverage, based in Augusta, GA. You will participate in hospital clinical programs, monitor patient regimens, and mentor staff and students in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities include interpreting orders, compounding medications, ensuring safety, and contributing to antimicrobial stewardship and other pharmacy initiatives. ACPE-accredited degree and active license required; PGY1/2 and BCPS preferred.

Formación

• Licensed pharmacist with ACPE-accredited degree.
• 3+ years clinical hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Completion of hospital PGY1/PGY2 residency or fellowship.
• BCPS certification preferred and licensure in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and verify orders in the pharmacy system accurately.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals correctly.
• Monitor drug regimens for safety and interactions.
• Provide clinical consultation to practitioners and staff.
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff and students.
• Document interventions and outcomes for quality programs.
