Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Georgia is seeking a part-time Clinical Pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical care in their Peach Pharmacy team. This PRN role will be primarily weekends, with occasional weekday and holiday coverage.

Daily operating hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with holiday hours 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Applicants must be licensed in Georgia (reciprocity eligible) and hold a Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school (or NABP FPGEC).

Qualifications

• Licensed in Georgia or eligible for reciprocity.
• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and literature evaluation.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy and safety.
• Designs and monitors patient-specific regimens based on literature.
• Interprets medication orders and prescriptions.
• Participates in medical emergencies when applicable.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentors pharmacy teammates and students as assigned.
