Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors to the office and directs questions to appropriate staff members.
• Checks patients in and out for scheduled visits per 5-Star standard.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments in alignment with provider schedules.
• Verifies insurance coverage and confirms patient eligibility for services.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles payments; documents in EHR.
• Maintains up-to-date patient charts and processes portal communications.
• Supports inventory and keeps reception area neat and orderly.
• Assists in crisis situations as needed and participates in emergency routines.
