Job summary

Scott Enterprises is seeking an energetic Wedding & Special Events Sales Manager to generate sales and oversee planning for weddings, social events, and special occasions from inquiry to event day.

The ideal candidate excels in relationship-building, guest experiences, and converting inquiries into bookings, with experience in wedding sales, catering/hospitality sales, or hotel banquet operations. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in event planning, wedding planning, catering/hospitality sales or related field.
• Strong sales and customer relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple events, clients and deadlines.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience with event management software and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new wedding and special event business and solicit opportunities.
• Respond to leads with timely, professional follow-up.
• Conduct consultations, tours, tastings and planning meetings.
• Coordinate event details, timelines, room blocks and BEOs.
• Manage weddings and events from booking through completion.
• Coordinate lodging, menus, blocks and guest experiences.
• Work with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
