J.P. Morgan Chase is seeking a Market Director of Wealth Management to lead a team of Financial Advisors, delivering exceptional client experiences and managing revenue growth within a designated California territory.

You will recruit, coach and develop Advisors, collaborate with branch and banking partners, and drive a culture of service, risk control, and inclusion. A strong investment knowledge base plus regulatory readiness is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in advisor management with a proven coaching track record.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 are required.
• FINRA Series 9/10 required within 60 days of employment.
• Proven ability to recruit and attract internal and external advisor talent.
• Strong investment services knowledge and keen market awareness.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and risk/control focus.
• Subject to the Federal Deposit Insurance Act restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Financial Advisors to service a wide range of clients from new savers to high-net-worth individuals.
• Attract, recruit, and coach Advisors; implement talent and performance strategies.
• Collaborate with Branch Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending to provide integrated solutions.
• Influence technology use to meet current and future customer needs; promote diversity and inclusion.
• Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational activities to meet strategic objectives for the territory.
• Establish a culture of risk and control to protect customers and the business.
• Demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative and urgency in problem solving.
