Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Washington, DC is seeking a Business Service Officer to lead a team of Support Professionals and oversee service operations across the branch. You will drive performance, ensure compliance with firm policies, and partner with Sales and Risk teams to deliver a best-in-class client experience.

You will mentor staff, handle interviewing and onboarding, manage budget, and participate in national calls to implement policy changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education.
• Active Series 7, Series 9 and 10, and Series 66 or Series 63 and 65 licenses required.
• Strong leadership and talent development capabilities.
• Experience supervising Support Professionals and Advisors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch in executing strategic priorities with consistent, compliant service.
• Mentor, supervise and develop a team of Support Professionals.
• Interview, select and onboard new hires including Financial Advisors and staff.
• Manage relationships with Branch, Market, Region and Home Office partners.
