Job summary

HDR is a leading engineering and architecture firm delivering water resources projects that improve public health and sustainability. The Business Class Lead will work with the Business Class Director and HDR peers to monitor technical competencies, staff development, and execution of water resource planning that meets federal standards and expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; serve as Quality Control lead and technical advisor for specific projects.
• Leading or supporting standards and guidelines to enhance service quality and efficiency; promote forward-thinking delivery and technology adoption.
• Participating in tactical planning; align initiatives with market drivers and client needs; assist in recruitment of key positions.
• Working with HDR teams including client facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on pursuits as lead or team member.
